About Tarang
Welcome to Tarang, an annual event organized by KFMS with the aim of promoting academic excellence and fostering a culture of learning among medical students.
Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research is one of the few established medical colleges in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Founded in 2012, our institution focuses on providing quality medical education with a variety of UG and PG courses. Our institution’s experienced faculty members are the beacon of unwavering commitment to excellence in medical education. In the past decade, they have sculpted exceptional medical professionals, who now work across the globe. Our institution has always sworn by a profound culture of compassion and integrity, instilling a service mindset among students.
Our journey has always been guided by the dual goals of teaching future healthcare professionals and making the best health care available to the community at an affordable cost. Accompanied by our multi-speciality hospital,we have strived to make healthcare accessible to every nook and corner of the city. True to our values, our hospital has been actively organising medical camps in sub-urban and rural areas of the vicinity - fulfiling healthcare needs of the underprivileged, across ages.
